To reach the Palud ornithological reserve you have to follow the road toward Pula, after 5 km drive you take the road that goes to Veštar campground, 100 m before the Veštar main entrance you must turn left on a dirt road. This road leads toward Cisterna beach and Palud (Map view).

On the entrance of the ornithological reserve you must park your car and take a 10 minute walk to the beach. The beach is mostly rocky with some shadow in the mediterranean macchia a few meters from the shore. It's a wild beach with no services where you can enjoy sunbathing on the beach shore or swimming in the clear blue water.

The beach is suitable for visitors seeking privacy and bird watching lovers who want to cool after a long walk around the swamp.

Rovinj's wild beaches are not official FKK nudist places but there is not uncommon to encounter nude people enjoying the wilderness.
